Annie Sloan - Gold Size

Annie Sloan’s Gold Size is the perfect glue for your gold leaf or bronze powder. It is water-based and it maintains its stickiness even when dry.

How to use Gold Size: apply a thin layer over a surface intended for gilding. The Gold Size will at first look white, then purple as it dries (this can take up to 15 minutes), and finally transparent. Once the Size is transparent, it is ready for metal leaf to be applied. Lay the leaf carefully onto the sized area, gently smoothing and removing excess leaf with a soft dry cloth.
